Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Kelly Phillips and I am a paper bead fanatic!
It all started with a spark of inspiration—a beautiful paper bead necklace spotted in a shop window. Like many passionate crafters, I thought, I can make something like that! And so I did what most of us do: I dove into YouTube tutorials, grabbed some wooden skewers, and began rolling.
But while the process was fun, my beads didn’t look quite as polished as I imagined. I started searching for a tool that could help, but the options out there were clunky, uncomfortable, or just not built to last. So, I decided to create my own.
That’s how Chellejon Paper Bead Rollers was born—from the hands of a fellow paper beader who simply wanted better tools.
Today, I’m a Paper Bead Artist and Educator, dedicated to empowering crafters with beautiful, comfortable paper bead roller tools, thoughtfully designed to reduce hand fatigue and elevate your bead-making experience. I also design stencils, digital cutting files, and printable patterned strips—everything you need to bring your paper bead visions to life.

My inspiration comes from my own journey as a maker, and from the incredible community in my Paper Bead Fanatics Facebook group. Their feedback, creativity, and enthusiasm continue to shape every tool and design I create.

Video Design Team (Remote)
We are seeking a self-motivated creator to produce short tutorial videos about bead rolling as well as assist with projects as needed. As a member of the PaperBeadRollers.com Video Design Team, you are at the creative heart of what we do! Your job is to inspire our paper beading followers through your own creativity and crafting. Each member of the Design Team will have their own style and flair in their videos. They don’t have to look exactly like Kelly’s but there is a general blueprint and best practices you should follow. You will work with Kelly to determine the projects you cover in your videos, although they must be paper bead oriented. Pay is $75 per completed video.
What we’re looking for:
- A creative individual who knows paper beading
- Motivated, and can work without supervision
- Video creation experience
- Video editing experience
- Ability to create 2-4 videos/month
This is a remote 1099 contract position where you are paid for each video you produce. No benefits are provided. All content will be exclusively aired on the paperbeadrollers.com media channels. You must be authorized to work in the US. Your application information will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
