This beautiful, chunky, Christmas Ornament necklace will be the talk of the holiday party circuit when they find out that it’s made of paper! Talk about a conversation starter!
This easy to make necklace doesn’t weigh heavily on your neck so you can keep it on all night long. It’s made of 65lb cardstock paper cut into strips and rolled into beads. The ornaments connect using headpins in a unique zig-zag pattern. Wow everyone with your craft fashion sense this season!
One of the things I love about this jewelry project is that we used findings just like you would use on beads that aren’t made of paper. Just because a bead is made of paper doesn’t mean you can’t use all of the fabulous jewelry-making techniques with it. And better still, because it’s better for the environment – we’re not using plastics and we may even be recycling depending on what paper you’re using.
