Ready to Have Some Fun With Your Paper Beads?
Once you’ve mastered the classic triangle strip, it’s time to see what else paper can do.
The Fun Shapes Paper Bead Stencil Set gives you three specialty strip designs that create beads with more texture, movement, and personality than a traditional triangle strip.
This set includes:
- Bow Tie
- Harlequin
- Scallops
Each stencil measures approximately 9.5″ x 1.75″ and creates a paper strip approximately 9″ long.
Because the shape of the strip determines the shape of the finished bead, changing the outline gives you a completely different result when you roll it. It’s an easy way to experiment and add new shapes to your paper bead artistry.
Three Shapes. Three Completely Different Looks.
Bow Tie creates a strip with a dramatic changing width for a distinctive sculpted bead.
Harlequin uses an angular edge pattern to create a more geometric, textured look.
Scallops adds a repeating curved edge that gives the finished bead a playful layered effect.
Use them to experiment with different papers, colors, patterns, and roller sizes and see how each combination changes the finished bead.
Trace. Cut. Roll.
Using the stencils is simple:
Place the stencil firmly against your paper and trace inside the opening with a mechanical pencil. Cut along your traced line, then roll the strip using your favorite Paper Bead Roller.
The rigid stencil stays flat while you trace, helping you create a clean, repeatable shape without measuring or drawing the pattern from scratch.
Why a Mechanical Pencil?
With specialty shapes like these, accuracy matters. Even small changes in the traced strip can affect the finished bead.
A mechanical pencil gives you a fine, consistent line that makes it easier to follow the stencil accurately.
And because not everyone has one sitting in their craft drawer, a mechanical pencil is included with every stencil-set order.
Reusable, Organized & Easy to Identify
Each stencil is:
Rigid and stable — stays flat while you trace
Clearly labeled — the stencil name is marked right on the tool
Reusable — make your favorite shapes again and again
Easy to organize — the included easy-open ring keeps the set together between projects
The stencils are manufactured from PLA, a plant-based plastic made from renewable materials such as corn.
Made for Paper Bead Artists Who Like to Experiment
These aren’t the stencils I’d start with for your very first traditional paper bead.
They’re the ones you reach for when you start asking:
“What else can I make?”
The Fun Shapes set was created for paper bead artists who want to experiment, push beyond the basic triangle, and discover new ways to turn ordinary paper into something completely unexpected.
Designed and manufactured by our small business in North Carolina.
