Did you know that most of the chain you buy at the big box craft stores is iron plated with color? I decided it was time to start using quality stainless steel chain to keep my jewelry pieces looking fabulous for a longer time. Stainless steel chain is a bit more expensive than iron crafting chain, but the end result is sooo worth it!
Stainless steel is hypoallergenic, durable and fade-resistant! If it begins to dull, soak in a mixture of mild detergent and water and wipe dry with a soft cloth. You can also use baking soda and water with a soft toothbrush to clean inside the links.
