Your set includes:

• 1″ wide
• 3/4″ wide

Each stencil creates a strip approximately 9″ long.

The width of the strip influences the width and profile of the finished bead, so one set gives you plenty of ways to experiment—from wider statement beads to tiny, delicate paper beads.

The Shape of the Strip Shapes the Bead

That’s one of the most important things to understand about paper bead making.

Change the width of your triangle, and you change the shape of your finished bead. Change the paper, pattern, roller size, or strip length, and you can create an entirely different look again.

These stencils make it easy to repeat a shape you love—or experiment until you find one that’s completely your own.

Trace. Cut. Roll.

Using the stencils is simple:

1. Trace — Place the stencil firmly against your paper and trace inside the opening with the included mechanical pencil.

2. Cut — Cut along your traced lines to create your triangle strip.

3. Roll — Roll your strip with your favorite Paper Bead Roller and watch the shape become a bead.

The stencil’s rigid construction stays flat while you trace, helping you create a clean, repeatable outline without measuring and drawing each strip from scratch.

Accuracy matters because the shape of your strip determines the shape of your bead.

A mechanical pencil creates a fine, consistent line that’s easier to trace and cut accurately than a thick or blunt pencil line. That’s why we include one with every stencil-set order.

The stencils measure approximately 9.5″ x 1.75″ and are manufactured from PLA, a plant-based material made from renewable resources such as corn.
